Ryder System Inc. is renowned in the industry for its safety and training, and ITI has helped Ryder with that safety culture for the past 15 years. In this webinar, we talked through Ryder’s approach to training, compliance and safety, and discussed how you can leverage their experience in your own company.
In the recording below, ITI’s Laura McMillan interviews Brandon Folck, Director of Training Standards, at Ryder System, Inc. The interview covered lots of ground, and discussed training ideas for both enterprise-size fleets, as well as smaller fleets.

About the Speaker:
Brandon Folck is responsible for supporting Ryder’s Global Supply Chain Solutions (SCS), Dedicated Transportation Solutions (DTS), and Fleet Management Solutions (FMS) Divisions throughout the United States and Canada. Within that area, he manages various aspects of Ryder’s Pro-TREAD platform, coined rydersafetytraining.com. His team develops, distributes, and reports on all Ryder Safety, Health, and Security training, policy, procedure, and regulatory compliance, including DOT, OSHA, IMDG, and IATA.
Brandon’s team is also accountable for company-wide reporting and analytical trend development. This helps the company define areas of safety concern to address through the further development of training, inspection, observation, or other proactive safety measures.
Prior to Ryder, Brandon was employed in other aspects of transportation and logistics, including insurance and environmental, however, has worked as a Safety Professional in a wide range of industries including food packaging and production, automotive, high-tech, retail, and manufacturing.
